Buenos Aires for the second time... and thankfully it turned out to be better than the first (no illness this time!)... Unfortunately, due to the cancelled flight from Bariloche, we arrived later than expected and couldn´t try for the tour at the Congress until the next day (this was the tour that we tried to do last time in Bs As but it was cancelled). Arrived at Cordoba bus station at 7am. We stopped for a quick coffee and medialunas (croissants) in the station before finding somewhere to stay. There were tunes, some great some cheesey, playing in the cafe including a few from Guns n Roses. Not sure how the conversation turned, but we were trying to figure out the name of the guitarist from GnR and the only way I could think to describe it to Jo was by saying it was the bloke in the "private" video w...

Before I go any further, a comment about the mapping facility on this blog... not sure what's going on but we can't map anything in Argentina... I don't know if it's restricted or Google don't have a licence or what... so basically I´m guessing where I "pin the tail on the donkey" when trying to place our locations! p.s. I also noticed a town called "Fray Bentos" in Uruguay on the south west border with Argentina... how wierd is that? F...

Puerto is a much smaller, woodsy town than the commercial city of Foz we left behind in Brazil. It felt more relaxed and safer. Unfortunately Jo was on a schedule and wanted to hit Buenos Aires asap, so we only had just over a day here! Our hotel looked very grand and mainly was... although quite worn around the edges. It had a great pool area but we had no time to enjoy it! The Argentinian side of the falls was different from the Brazilian... no one proactive...
