Mel Geltch More amazing tales - I am loving reading them. I especially love that you've been scammed in Africa and appreciate it for the experience - go girl. Geez 39 countries.. have some serious catching up to do, you inspire me!
re: The steam than thunders - Victoria Falls!Rod Howard Hey Alexia, sounds like an awesome trip filled with new and exciting experiences... even being ripped off lol... guess it happens everywhere unfortunately. Wow, wild Africa, is it everything you imagined it to be? Do you feel safe? Apart from untamed animals after dark. Are the African countries very different from each other? We'll probably get there eventually. We're heading off to Europe and Middle East mid February. Take care and keep safe for the remainder of your adventure. Cheers, Rod
re: The steam than thunders - Victoria Falls!Mel Awesome Alexia! Rain is torrential here just now.. not that you needed any incentive to enjoy your trip any more. Thank you for sharing! Mel
re: Serengeti to Lake MalawiDavid Hi Alexia Wow this is sounding amazing...I'd give the ox balls a swerve though. Have fun. cheers David
re: Nairobi, KenyaKylie Hey traveller. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time! I'm very jealous.
re: Nairobi, KenyaMel My eyes are watering with pleasure at reading your blog (not sure how that works) ... which only just wins over envy! My best bits - Laura (of course), elephant sunscreen (imagining huuuge pump packs), the jumping one masai dance and royal waving from your monster truck.. all wonderful! Good for vicarious living during a quiet January. Your desk is conspicuously empty - and I'm sure you don't care one bit :) Take care and soak it up
re: Nairobi, KenyaHilary Great round-up. Well done. So jealous. Sorry to pinch Kaya. She'll be back. Love H.
re: Santa Cruz, BoliviaSteph Awww that sucks your health has been attacked from all angles it seems. We got your postcard yesterday and it sounds pretty exciting a)that you are still alive and b) you are having a blast. happy easter :)
