This sign may be slightly inappropriate but I think it's awesome an important, not only promoting safe sex but slyly including gays in everyday media and there are at least 3 around town. Makes me love New Zealand a bit more and feel less different. It must help any locals feel more comfortable about coming out. (Though we are not sure why the setting for the poster is a poker table...).
I'm going to write this in the future tense for a change.
Wellington is cool and I only have a day to make the most of it in this direction. So tonight I will chill with the girls (Charlie, Sabina, Sanne and Nancy) in Nomads, we have vowed to stay away from Base (and the YHA hostel was full). The silly girl at reception wanted to split us up but when we queried it it was actually barely any hassle to put us all together and will be so happy about this because everything is easier when you're all together. Nomads supply free tea, coffee and afternoon snack here which will be nachos today and chicken pasta tomorrow. Me and Charlie will enjoy an episode of Revenge in the squeaky double bed tonight.
I will get up early to make the most of the day (8 30) (well I will set my alarm for then but only get out of bed squeakily at 8 45) skip breakfast and climb Mt Victoria for the view point, shop for a new hoody and sunbath outside Te Papa whilst waiting for the girls. Caxton FX will be a pain in the bum and my camera will have yet another paddy in the museum when I want to take a photo of the huge whale skeleton which beats the one in the Biology Lecture Theatre by 2fold.
Wellington's nightlife is meant to be grand so we will check that out and meet some funny characters, drink a 'slippery nipple' shot and me and Nancy will beat the others at table football. Nancy will need teaching how not to spin first though the little cheat! The cloud formations from the ferry are awesome and I'm really looking forward to the views on the cook straight as recommended by many. I have my tilt back seat at the front of the ferry. Another advantage of travelling alone since there is only one left at the front. I'm pretty tired. Hope I don't fall asleep...
Thing I realise I have lost so far with no recollection of how. Or a perfect recollection and me groaning in stupidity. Marks out of 10 indicate how much I miss them.
