07/12/2009After a scenic and extremely comfortable coach journey on what turned out to be a first class massage coach, even though it was the cheapest option, we arrived at around 5pm into the manic rush hour of Malaysia's Capital city - Kuala Lumpur. We got dumped off the coach by the side of a main road, not knowing exactly where we were so jumped in a taxi and taken to China Town. After having the taxi driver rip us off, charging us 15RM to take us 5 mins down...

4/12/2009 A fairly comfortable 4 hour ferry journey south and we arrived at the port town of Georgetown. 01/12/2009 Finally reaching Malaysia and the Island of Langkawi after a days travelling on buses and boats we docked at the main port and got our passports stamped. It immediately felt different from Thailand, more western. We were greeted by a massive Starbucks and KFC and a calm taxi rank - no screaming tuk tuk drivers insight!
