Now here's a little update on where we are now... Our photos of our travels through the wild west speak for themselves I think. It was awesome! Amazing countryside, so much of this country is full of breath-taking scenery, with such contrasts. The desert was much colder than we had imagined, even at this time of year we thought we would still be pretty warm, but snow has never been very far away from us.

And now here we are skiing in Steamboat, Colorado. The weather has been excellent in some ways. Lovely sunshine, but not much fresh snow, you can't have it both ways I guess. Debbie has started skiing nicely, but we're still sticking to the lower slopes until she is a bit more confident. Although I haven't skied for over ten years it came back to me straight away so we're having a great time. It's been snowing today, which will mean nice fresh snow to play in tomorrow. We're having a day off from skiing today to rest and enjoy the free fast internet and try and plan some of our trip into Canada next week. We're also enjoying being self catered for a week, having a well-stocked fridge, oven, and our own washing machine! Motels only tend to have ice and coffee machines and the odd microwave, which makes it hard to cook, and I've missed cooking for myself sometimes.
