Angeles City

We came, we saw and we got the hell out as fast as we could, hahahah!!

Seriously the place was a dump.

One of the first thing you notice when in Angeles City is the streets lined with red neon signs. We called this the Street of Shame. It was full of girlie bars and massage parlors. One large sign showed a montage of pretty girls' faces with the slogan: The Sexiest Girls Await Your Pleasure!

Unfortunately this was no exception, the streets were the multitude of Western old men with their Filipino girls walking up and down absolutely everywhere.

Another interesting experience here is to take a tric, short for tricycle. They are little motorcycles attached to little carts and they drive quite crazily down the road. It doesn't seem to matter whether they drive on the left or right.

It was an experience to drive down the street and have cars coming the other way on both sides of you. It also cool to see little motor scooters with a family of four on them. The other day we went to take a tric, and the driver had a kid sleeping in the cart. He took the kid out put him on a bench and drove us into centre, leaving the five year old kid behind. A very sad fact but I guess nobody would want to steal a kid here anyways, they are just another mouth to feed.
