It is Saturday and have just found out that Carlton beat Collingwood yay! We don't have any phone service here and limited Wi-Fi. Yesterday we tackled King's Canyon which is quite a walk - lots of climbing but we both enjoyed the challenge. We had trouble finding a camp site with power as the school holidays are on and camping grounds are full and overflowing. So we booked here for 3 nights so we can at least stay warm. It was so cold this morning the water in the hoses was frozen. The days aren't that warm either. Luckily we are allowed to light camp fires so each day we have been collecting firewood and light a big fire each night while we have drinks and cook tea. Today we did a somewhat smaller walk at Kathleen Springs - very pretty. We had some nice neighbours the last two nights - Ian and Robyn from Sydney - great company. We are heading to Uluru tomorrow morning and from all reports we will be lucky to get a site so will probably be in the overflow camp or we might just go out the road. Wherever we end up one thing is for certain - it will be ffffrreeeeeeezing!
