You may think that there isn't a connection with today's photo and blog. I spent part of the day in Yarra Glenn and Lillydale. I picked up some travel information, a Lillydale train timetable, filled up with fuel and bought some things; hummous milk, crackers, razors and moisturiser. My skin still feels a little tight and delicate from sunburn however I need to do all I can to prevent peelidge otherwise I will cry.
Last night I realised that Ellie has become a true artist since I left. Her drawing just overwhelmed me and I wanted to show it off to those of you who follow my blog- I actually think Ellie you are the only one who reads it haha. Another night at the farm and the sun has been shining brightly. One of the smallest of the baba cows was spotted to have red eye. I watched it being taken from its mother to be treated and put in isolation while it's eyes heal. It is partly blinded and needs to recover but I can't help but feel sad for both the mother and baba being taken from one another with no idea what is come and whether they will be together again. That was something that did bring a tear to my eye but I remember that once baba is better, it will be reunited with it's mum again. I can only think that unlike an animal I have the ability to know that or otherwise hope that I will reunited with my friends and family soon.
