HI Alan,
It's sounding fantastic. I wish we could meet up with you for a beer over there but the teleport has yet to be invented by Chief Engineer Scotty who will be born in Linthingow in the year 2135.
I liked your poetic words about the falls which I will try and use in my art project somehow. On my way to the pub and will put a word in for you. Keep safe. Ian

Hi Alan, fascinating read so far. It sounds like an amazing place. I hit the big 50 today, happy birthday to me, you will owe me a celebratory glass of your finest when you get home. Did you ever decide what to do with your collection whilst you are away? Anyway. My thoughts are with you and I look forward to your next installment.
Much love
Vincent

The waterfalls sound amazing - it's easy to imagine you there.
I know what you mean about Patogonia being a word from your childhood - mine too! Can't wait to hear all about it!
The daffs are up but in danger of being blown down and no butterflies around here, unfortunately. The snow has left but likely to return. Not deep snow, just pretty and soft. We've had stunning rainbows, too. Wonder if we're looking at either end of the rainbow?
Love and hugs xx

Bonjour l'aventurier !!
A bientôt,

Hi,
Awful weather all weeked here though we managed to get "above" it. (forecast on Friday night showed a band of s***e weather heading down over the UK) by going up to Perthshire. My eldest brother (the one who doesn't speak except to find fault in things) was up for the weekend but was surprisingly benign. Iona helped entertain him and we had an extra help from Malcolm and Ian coming to the pub on Saturday night. So basically weather rubbish and an uncommunicative brother all weekend but SCOTLAND BEAT ENGLAND at Murrayfield!!!!

Hi Alan
Good to read that you are enjoying yourself - not hard in warm weather and having to work.
Keep the information coming and post some photographs!
Take care.

loved reading your last blog...and great that you sound so happy about going off into the wilds on your adventures...it's going to be soooo amazing. Talking of wild, we've had some unbelievably wild winds here over the last week or so. Spring is springing..lots of crocuses, daffs and snowdrops everywhere. beautiful!

Hola Alan,
I enjoy reading your diary. I´m not surprised that you have met nice people and found your interesting places. I woke up to 0,5 m of snow today instead of spring, which I´m looking forward to.
