Long drive today to Monument Valley, 310 miles. We stop of at a park along the way for abour 1 1/2 hrs for lunch and few ball games. Then head back on the road for the Monuments. We arrive........ and what amazing place it is, it really was true what a sign a saw, on the way, said - "Monument Valley, 8th wonder of the world", the sights were just breath taking, I wouldn't know where to or how to start describing the beauty of this place. we finish the 2 hour tour around the Valley just before sunset and manage to see another amazing spectacle, just gets better and better this trip!!!!! We then drive down to out accommodation for the night, a local dwelling called a Hogan, a Navajo building used for celebrations etc, we are cooked a local meal of Navajo Tacos & then Daniel spoke about the building and history of the Navajos, unfortunatley the day had to come to an end and we all head of to sleep.
