Day 10 - Serengeti to Ngorongora Crater Early morning drive - saw three lions as soon as we got in the land cruiser as well as a herd of elephand walking past our camp. With the early morning mist, it felt like being inside a painting. 100 metres down the road and we came upon the kill site with the lion pride on their kill. Talk about 'whilst you were sleeping'. Day 9 - Arusha to Serengeti Was picked up at 8 by the Bee Eater & Honey Safari company. Long day of driving although it is great not being on the truck. Arrived at the Ngorongora Crater around lunch time (albeit we're just passing through and will be spending time in the crater on the way back). What an absolutely spectacular view.
