After our visit to the boulders we took the 1 hour drive south to Dunedin to see the little piece of Scotland south of the Equator. Amazing architecture. We went to see the Cadbury Chocolate factory to ask about booking a tour and we were booked in for the next tour that day. We were giving samples of some of the chocolates they make there and got to see 1 ton of molten chocolate fall 5 stories (wow). We also got to sit in the cab of a 1919 Ford model T milk tank...

Went to see the boulders today; they were amazing! The huge boulders are concretions from the ocean floor. Our geologists friends will be jealous! I always wanted to see them after seeing the picture in my 2013 calendar. The day started windy and cool but got sunny and warm. Our many windowed "cabin", really a sizeable house got quite warm when we returned from Dunedin.

We made it to Moeraki. Andrea saw the famous boulders on a calendar and wanted to see them. I found our cabin we are staying at online and though it might be nice to stay in a cabin and not a motel room(Good call). Fabulous location great views! We suspect the cabins are owned by the owners of the motel. Doesn't really matter what a great view from the rooms here in the cabin. We ate at Fleurs Place, supposed to be very famous. iI was a nice place to eat with goo...

Decided to check out this place before driving to Dunedin and Moeraki. Found it very interesting. Decided to have lunch here before our drive south

Went to do a little exploring after supper drove to Lyttleton cool little town on the east coast
