Hope B.C. is a lovely little town where the TCH, the Coquihalla, and Highway 3 meet. 120 kph is the posted speed from Kamloops to Hope so you seem to get there in a hurry. Its a smaller, quiet town before the hustle of Chiliwack. One of Hope's claims to fame is: it was the the location for the filming of First Blood, the first Rambo film. The town has lots of wood carvings on public display and there are lots of motels & restaurants. Othello tunnels are nearby & fun to explore. It is worth the time to stop and enjoy all that this little gem of a town has to offer. We love Hope and always spend the night here before boarding a ferry to Vancouver Island in the morning.
