Yesterday we left the comfort of our beach side bungalows to get a boat from Koh Phangan island over to the mainland. We were however in the wrong taxi so had to pay a couple of pounds to get there. Jade wasn't feeling too well, we think she's picked up a bug so the boat ride definitely wasn't what she needed! With staying in such a nice place, I nearly forgot to mention the rest of our journey over to this island. So, after the packed out minibus, we were on our boiling hot coach which was easily the most uncomfortable journey so far. We stopped once where we were all bursting for the toilet, but were alarmed to find only crouching toilets! That was no fun! Not wanting to drink much more, we got back on the hot coach, until after about two hours our bags were took off...

The picture for this blog is where we are staying at Phangan Beach Resort. This is mine and Ruth's bungalow and the beach is literally a five second walk to the left of it. They're so cute and quaint! We've also got a pool and restaurant here. If you can see any sky on the picture, you may notice it's another grey day with pouring rain again! We have finally had two full sunny days with no clouds in the sky! However, today we got up early and are missing the sun as we are taking a 10 hour bus/boat journey from Phuket to Koh Phangan in time for the full moon party on Saturday night. So far we've been on a crammed minibus, where Ruth was say on some sort of high chair and I was sat backwards on something that didn't even resemble a seat, but we kept picking up more people and squeezing them in. Today we sailed from Phi Phi to Phuket. First drama was to get on the right boat as we had to climb (literally climb!) across five other boats with all our bags to get to ours! We are staying near Kata Beach which is meant to be nice, but as it was quite late on by the time we got here, we haven't had chance to look around yet and the other girls are having a snooze in front of the TV now!!
