Sarah, Claudia, Mina,  Connie, Mel: Please don't ever go swimming at a beach by yourself. A boy named Peter that was staying at the hostel, drowned yesterday at one of the beaches in Noosa. He was by himself and the beach he went to had a very strong current. Everyone working at the hostel including myself has been feeling uber guilty because Peter was a bit of a loser and gave everyone a bit of a hard time. Anyways the police came by to get his stuff to send to his parents. Very sad. We should all be happy everyday to be alive.

Was just reading all the lovely new messages, and felt left out!

I don't know what a "surf boy" diet is, but it sounds good and I want in!!!   Claudia is on day 2 of her non-smoking (I'm so very proud of her!), and apparently she's only gone slightly psychotic just the one time. I suggested lollipops for her oral fixation... tee hee... I said oral...  If I'd known that she was unaware of the dangers of smoking, I would have filled her in SO much sooner...

Just had someone wandering through our office for 10 mins. and stole two wallets and no one said anything to him!!! I've had like 5 people say that they saw him, but felt too weird asking him who he is. ARGH!!! We've since recovered one wallet, but Julia's is still missing... totally sucks!!!

Anyway, just wanted to touch base too, since everyone else has. Miss you oodles! Will send you a full update via email soon,

 You have to tell me what is part of a surfer boy diet?  I imagine that they eat at least 1 kiwi per day, or is that only in NZ?  You made me die laughing just picturing you  body surf! I can't imagine that you're experiencing a same old moment.  There are no baby turkeys here! It has already been 6 months, are you not at the half way mark for coming back home?  I miss you. Do you seriously think you will come back?

How far is Bali? How long will you be there? I can't believe you didn't invite me. Remember to wear your sunscreen.

LeBlonde and Mina - You're not allowed to go out for beers and have fun without me! Just joshing, I guess life carries on without me. I heard about Vero, f***ing fan-tab-u-lous! I am so happy for her. Claudia, I hope you coughed on everyones phone when they went for lunch. Mina don't work too hard, even though I know you will.

I am trying desperatley to be on a surf boy diet as a Pro Surfing competition is coming to Noosa for the middle of March. But it's so hard when you live (serioulsy) 15 steps away from a bar and get really cheap drinks.

Went to da beach today and saw about a billion jellyfish, the size of my head. And almost drown cause the ji-nor-mous waves. Very scarey. I've become very good at body surfing, really fun. Still not going to try the real thing (surfing) because it freaks me out. I gets harrassed everyday to at least try it. But WHATEVER! Anyways, i do have some pictures that I will upload soon of NOOOOOSA! Yah!

Other then that same old same old. I will let you know when I have uploaded some more pics.

oh, and please don't read my non-presence for a few weeks the wrong way - swamped and exhausted, but I still think about u always - hey?  forgot to ask you if you've heard of this Jesus Camp dock/mockumentary?  Claudia can tell you all about it - crazy stuff!  went out with Vero and Claudia lastnight for a few - again, you were missed!

I suck! can't belive it's been so long since I've been on this site.  Yeah, I remember those crazy racoons - haven't seen them since.  They must've just shown up to freak us out that night! 

So I'm still at Cossweatte (shop) - it's just fine though (I'm a sucker for punishment.)  You're living the dream right now - please f*cking enjoy it for all of us stuck here for now. 

....and I almost completely clogged the pipes in my apartment - who said the flushable clumping kitty litter was safe anyway?!  A few bottles of Drano Max Gel and showers at the spa later and I think I'm safe.  The city allows you to include pet waste including litter in with the Green Bin stuff.  - important update is for when you decide to come back!

Have you spoken to Veronica? You should.  Very exciting news!  (Tell her Vero!) 

You're dearly missed.  So I'm reminiscing while reading your message board, but I was interrupted when I read something about flashing - what'd I miss?  Sounded fun! 

Am at the spa call centre right now - remember working here?  What a place.  Bangkok Garden is open again - back to the original menu (remember the wicked $2 lunch buffet?)

Did I miss something? Have you not posted pics since New Year's?  Please post something as they're helpful in me living vicariously through you chickie.  How long again has it been since you've worn closed toe shoes???!

actually. i take that back.  being sick at work is AWESOME.  because everytime i pick up the phone to speak to a client, they give me the sympathy card, "oooohhh, you sound awful." and i'm like, 'yeah, it kinda sucks to breathe through your mouth" and then they're like, 'oh and you're at work! you poor thing" - and i'm like, 'yeah, yeah, i know. what can you do? you gotta pay the bills" 

and this happens like 5 times every 10 minutes.

so i figure, if THAT is ten times better than not getting sympathy at home. this totally rubs it in their faces.

(but i must admit - kinda wish i didn't have the fever and chills thing.  makes it hard to get anything done.  the sympathy from the clients is keeping me going though. slowly but surely.) 

so i think i may have the bird flu.   i am sicker than a dog today.  and i am still at work.  and i am getting no sympathy from ANYONE (probably because i've used more sickdays than lindsay lohan).  anyway, i am making sure i am spreading the virus subtlely around the office.  that is, if you call getting up to sneeze at someone else's desk 'subtle'.

thanks for the update on why you have been avoiding my calls.  i'll be anxiously awaiting your phone call.  

oh! i forgot to tell you - the boy and i are moving out on April 1 - no more horrid roommate!  and we are only moving one floor down.  so we'll save sick cash and headaches on moving day.  scores.
