Your new pics are freakin hilarious!  Whenever I need a good laugh at work I check them out.  I am glad you are having so much fun.  The Hamelins are coming over this Sunday so I will try giving you a call when they are over so you can say hello.

Glad you're enjoying the Sunshine Coast. So different from the Glitzy and Trashy Gold Coast .  Are you at Halse Lodge? I stayed there once when I was backpacking up the coast. Also stayed at the place behind there that has the travelator up the hill, in the middle of the resort. Used to go up there for rowing too. I'm sure you've walked over to Alexandria Bay and discovered its "secret".  Hells Gate is pretty amazing over there too.

Lots of s***ty weather here. Very dark and gloomy.

Ok... I have to admit that I am insanely jealous!!! Every message you post makes me even more jealous! Wish I could be there with you... I'll just have to settle with living vicariously through you! The only thing that I'm not jealous about is that whole python thing... that's SO scary!!! I would die of a heart attack if I came across a snake like that! What are the spiders like there? If they are big and scary, I think I'll have to pass on ever going to Australia...

Anyways I am in Noosa now working at a sweet ass hostel and having a wicked time. I basically am a cashier/waitress and in return get free food and room and board. All the staff here live in an awesome apartment with a nice living room (with TV, yah! and DVDs), have our own kitchen and bathroom. The hostel is popular with all the locals and lots of cool people come to hang out here because of the chilled out atmosphere. It is a 1 minute walk to the beach and the main street. Every morning when I eat breakfast I have company from about 4 colourful canaries that try to eat my jam, and usually succeed. They sit on my shoulder and hands until I give in. There is also a python that lives underneath the staff apartment that I have been warned about as soon as I moved in. No matter how hot it is at night we are told to close our windows and doors to prevent the python from moving in. I haven't seen him yet but everyone else has, and I am not quite sure if I want to.

I love it here so much I decided to come back here after I travel with Lauren and her friend Ang in a campervan from Brisbane to Sydney. Although the bars here aren't open until 5am, just 2am. Ah well that's probably a good thing.

so i am deciding to stick around at my stupid job until i have a back up plan.  that's probably more logical.  even though logic and claudia don't typically make an entrance together. 

looking to give my roommate the boot in march and give him notice a month before.  f***ing had it with him.  christian most likely will be moving in after rehab. right now he's working at my mom's place - and i've been helping where i can.  man, landscaping and tiling and all that manual labour is sooooo refreshing.  it feels good compared to sitting on my ass in front of a computer all day.  thinking i might take up the trades. have a tool belt and talk shop and stuff.

anyhow, i'm off to check out the crazy pics. miss you love you infinity + 1

Hey Ang, first of all, sorry I haven't been on this website in a long long time. the month has been crazy, to say the least. Secondly I am really sorry that I missed your call. It would have been great to speak to you.

My place is amazing, I love being on my own and not having anyone's crap around to pick up after. Mike and I are getting along great now that we don't live together. how ironic. the kids are sooooo happy and all in all I think we are adjusting pretty good. I am so glad that you are having a great time. hopefully next time you call I will be home but it was nice to hear your voice.

so just an update, work is great, boys suck, and I LOVE being single. wish you were here to enjoy it with me but soon enough I hope. I'm sure time will fly ...it always does.

I am physically aching seeing the Surfers pix. Yeah, I know it's tacky, but it's home. If you head back get Darren to take you up to Mount Tamborine for some hiking - he knows all the good places. Currumbin rock pools too. And you'll see the places the locals go to get away from the tourist traps. Tell me you went to Shooters.

 I think there's some wierd instinct to do the group photo at McKensie on Fraser - I have a similar photo. Isn't that the best trip. Some nice boys in that pack. I met a six nippled man that trip. No kidding. I should of warned you that the Beaches hostel has cameras outside the buildings and they show the "footage" on the big screen. Hopefully you didn't recognize me. I was pretty flexible back then. Oh well, what goes on on tour, stays on tour. 

 One last thing. Caboolture is in Queensland you drunken backpacker. Miss ya. 

Hi All!

Well I have been a lucky gal these past days. I am Caboolture right now staying with Lauren's Auntie Baub, Uncle Will, and Cousins Claire, Ben, Bec, and Ben and Becs two little ones Charlotte and little Ben, oh and their cute pooch Cookie. All I have to say is it is so nice sleeping in a nice bed, having home cooked meals, and having handsoap on hand! As there is no handsoap in hostels. All of Laurens family are so nice and welcoming. One more night of luxury and then I am off to Noosa. Noosa has great beaches so my tan will get even better.

Mel I miss flashing you and almost getting caught. Almost!
