Day 34 - 37: Sunday 20th - Wednesdat 23rd March (By AJ).

Koh Tao.

Our few days on the Island of Koh Toa were absolutely fantastic! We got a room a 2 minute walk away from the beach front and basically chilled for 3 days on the sand and in the sea. We also had some lovely walks along the coast to the harbour, picnics and smoothies on the beach and did lots of snorkelling - the north end of the beach was a perfect spot to see coral and fish. They were so colourful and the water was like a bath. On our first morning, we got up early to walk to the police station to get a statement for our stolen money ... the police station consisted of a small room with a man in a towel watching cartoons and a naked french man locked up next to him with a toilet brush! ... Not sure how the insurance will go with that one! An interesting experience though!

The sunsets in the evening were so beautiful and then after (very cold) showers we went to some really cute restaurants with Emma and Blue, and then hit the beach bars! We sat out on the beanbags with cocktails and beers in Fizz bar every night but our absolute favourite was called Lotus bar, which had firedancers all night and the dancefloor was the sand. On our last night, there was a huge storm but everyone danced on the beach all night in the pouring rain! It was such a brilliant night and we really didn't want to leave the following day!
