Wow - some pretty amazing scenery again! Thanks for sharing.

My heart is aching for Zion! Next time you have the urge to do another road trip, check out Bandelier near Sante Fe and hiking north of Taos. Wild country and in April nobody there. We're headed for Vanouver Island to hike the beach and rain forest trails on the west side. If it's anything like the Oregon coast with the dramatic coastline and lush forests, we'll be in that state of grace like you seem to be perpetually. Happy to see you have shelter and so wonderful you're connecting (or trying to) with these kids. Nature has such redemptive power. Enjoy every minute. Can we get jobs there, too?

Great photos! Thanks for the awesome updates. I'm so proud of you! You're making a HUGH impact and giving these kids renewed strength and hope. Plus you're soaking up one of the most beautiful places in the USA. These memories will last a lifetime. Enjoy every moment!
Love you... Heidi

What a wonderful post! You two are certainly experiencing the profound effects of nature and purely existing. Our best times have always been hiking and I can see that's where your heart lies, too. The silence is so foreign to us, but in the silence you can hear the other world so keenly. Stay well.

You guys are really on an incredible journey. Glad to hear you made it safely to Utah.

I'm glad you're OK, I don't care about the bike. It's a terrible feeling when you hear that someone you love has been hurt. Get ready for some big hugs when you get here.

Thanks for sharing the holiday photos. Blueberry pancakes have always been a tradition in our house as well (from blueberries picked the previous summer in the Boundary Waters)! Hope you enjoy your Scrabble War games together!!!
