Well, it's been a long long time again and I'm sorry for the delay. We only had two days off our last shift and the week before that my parents were around! We ended up hiking I think 4 out of 5 days and a bunch of the photos are already up on my dad's facebook, but I've also added my own here.
I brought them on our first Utah hike, which was cool to revisit, though I must say the hike was more pleasant in the early spring cool. My mom triumphed over her fear of heights nearly every hike we went on and we all got tuckered out at one point or another.
The first night my parents made us a spiral cut ham that lasted half their trip and was excellent with the bottle of wine we had every night. We also spent some time meandering in the town, buying souveniers and visiting the local coffee houses (mmmm love muffin).
Overall, it was great to show the folks where I've been living and how breath taking it is here.
Other than that, I've been at work non-stop which has been a blast! I finally had the opportunity to work graduation and had a jam session on drums and billy cans with my co-instructor. We also got fresh-off-the-presses copies of Shouting at the Sky, a book written about Aspen Academy. If any of you would like a copy to read, please let us know and we'll ship it to you.
India is drawing near and we've finally purchased our plane tickets (which now include a week in Paris!!!). After all of our traveling, we'll be flying back into Minneapolis and then carpooling home for Thanksgiving, I hope I'll get a chance to see all of you, it's been so long!
