First blog so here goes nothing. We are currently sat on the plane from Madrid to Caracas both feeling slightly delicate because of Tom & Cherie's wedding last night. Not the best way to be feeling when we are heading to a foreign county only speaking two words of their native tongue.
We have stopped off at Madrid just to add to the list of countries we have visited on our travels but that was to change plane and grab a baguette.
And on day 1 Abigail is already turning her nose up at the food. In her defence it is aeroplane food so we will let her off this time. A delightful pot of egg and noodles wasn't the treat we were expecting but not long till we see the sights now!
Speaking of sightseeing, we currently have a view which the likes of angel falls and Machu pichu will struggle to beat. If only you could see it. We have the view of a large elderly man with an even larger head and afro hair with his chair pushed all the way back half a metre from my face. What a way to start, what more could you ask for ;)
There is a slight worry that we won't actually be allowed in Venezuela due to papers and visa's which we are sure wont be any trouble. We have spent half of a journey filling out forms so fingers crossed it is not all in vain. We also have been informed that we have to look presentable or you are more likely to be stopped. This gives Abigail another excuse to brush her hair..... Only for the fourth time today!
