Day 3, seems to have flown by. We started off the day by heading to a local market which had a ridiculous amount of choice of fruit. You name it they had it, which is where we ended up with the watermelon in the picture.
After polishing the watermelon the size of our head we have booked our hostel in Cuidad Bolivar with a swimming pool and also run geeko tours to Angel Falls. Cannot wait to get there now!!
Headed down to the beach which was boiling. After numerous games of cards and funny looks I went for a dip in the sea which as it is the Caribbean Sea was really warm. Abigail stayed on the beach to top up her tan and is starting to look more like a South American everyday. So far we have been asked if we are Argentinian and American all due to her tan I am sure, Just before we left a dose of pins and needles kicked in having Abigail and a group of locals in hysterics as I hobbled around the beach. We have seen some impressive sights such as Jesus carved from wood which was amazing and feeling a lot more settled and comfortable here now.
