We have woken up in what feels like paradise. With no curtains to the front of our room the natural light from the sunrise woke us up to watch it.
It was just as beautiful as watching the sunset last night with Lake Titicaca reflecting the light up for twice the effect as it rose over the snow tipped mountains across the lake.
Today we have choose just to enjoy the scenery and make the most of being on the island of the sun. Eating breakfast looking out over the lake, we definitely feel we made the right decision in staying on the island. Then we embarked on the walk back down towards the port with no donkeys to carry our bags this time.
Taking our own personalised route as there appeared to be no obvious path we slipped, jumped and slid our way down to the water. Finding another idyllic spot to look out over the water with the sun shining we played hundreds of games of cards and made the most of being able to relax. Abigail said how she felt we were "on holiday" rather than travelling at the location was perfect and how relaxed we were.
With our boat ticket back across to Copacabana were played silly games while listening to music which seemed the make the journey fly by.
Arriving back in Copacabana we wandered around and noticed that the town is very touristic. With lots of bars, restaurants and hostels all based for the travellers passing through there wasn't a lot of culture but did make it a nice place to chill out and enjoy each others company. Grabbing food and looking at all the local stalls, of which all sold trout to Ab's delight.
It is a nice town to stop off at and spend a night here but that is the maximum amount of time you could spend here.
