As the day was still young we got a taxi to Huachachina (divied up by 3 it was almost the same as a bus and it would unlike the bus take us straight to our hotel). We booked into a lodge which had a pool and cool entertainment area and an unmatchable view of the desert dunes and bue skies. The oasis is surrounded by loads restaurants and accommodation places, however the entire town is no more than 4x4 blocks. We arrived just in time for the last group of jeep sand buggies to leave. Was extraordinary! We had th best rollercoaster ride on the dunes ever. The buggy driver was a bit of an adrenaline junky which helped giving us the best experience. After stopping for a few photo ops, we got the sand boards out and hit the dunes. Starting with relatively high ones but clasified ass childs play (juegos de ninos) by the driver. We soon saw why when we were doing near verticle drops. Our 9 dune drops in total were awesome and veried by sandboarding, sitting and going straigh down on the stomach.
What a crazily amazing day...bus journey, Nasca line, Buggey and dune boarding, chilling next to the Oasis...all in a day's work!
