I had my first surfing lesson!! Went to Surfer's Paradise and booked in for a 2 hour lesson and when I arrived the 4 other people meant to be sharing my lesson had been travelling together and pulled out so I had my own personal surf instructor-yay. My birthday was amazing everyone came out and it was wonderful, we started off in an Irish pub this one was actually called Murphy's Bar where we each got a free pint of Tootheys New beer- I quite like it. Yay! Today is my Birthday :-) received lots of cards from the UK which was so nice and made me smile and miss everyone very much. Tonight everyone is going out on a pub crawl for my birthday, can't wait! This week has flown by! So I left Canberra after visiting the Canberra War Memorial with Lorna and struggling to get everything back into my rucksack which seems to be shrinking..ok the contents are expanding!
