Hey...

So Much has happened since we have last blogged. It has been a really heavy travel week for us (around 5-6hours travelling each day!)

We left Krabi and headed down towards the malaysia border, which was a very long travel day...about 9 hours that day which was exausting.

After crossing the border we went to Penang Island. It was really a good time as we were staying in china town and the celebrations for chinese new year were going on. We saw a lion/dragon dance which is ironic as we wanted to see one in china but to no avail...turn up in Malaysia and there we go! We also went to Penang hill which was really nice... the tram drive was very scary and slow but the views were amazing. I was slightly put off though by the size of the spiders...which averaged about the size of my hand! Scary...and they were everywhere..not sure if they were poisonous but were were just warned away.

In the evening i went with some girls who were having tattoos done...as moral support, and lee was planning on meeting me there later. when he arrived he was just looking through the books...then again...then again...then again...eventually he showed us one he liked and i offered to pay for his birthday. And thats it! He had one done for his birthday!

After leaving Penang.We took a 6 hour hr journey to the cameron highlands, which was really nice...suprising how cold it was though...i thought heat rose but not there! it was a nice break from the heat and was only for one night.

Today we have travelled from the cameron highlands to the capital of Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (probably spelt wrong?!?) From what we have seen...KL looks like a fantastic place. Tonight we have been out to see the Petronis towers by night and had drinks in the Sky bar...which is the most expensive place that we have been...a cocktail cost 4 pounds...can you believe it! We have also been to a rasta bar...and left quickly because we wanted to go to the local shop and buy cheap alcohol...such pikeys!

off to bed now as its almost 1am...and need to be hard core tourists tomorrow in KL.
