Hi everyone

Sorry that we have no been blogging regularly as we have had a bit of trouble with internet connection.

We had an amazing time in Las Vegas. I will give you a quick summary of events

We arrived in Vegas on Tuesday. That evening we walked the entire length of the strip which is 6 miles! BIG MISTAKE! HUGE! We decided to get a taxi back which was very good as we ached all over! The 3am bedtime was just too much!

The next day we got up and took it easy all day...with a swim in the pool and then we went out again, this time we went out early as our feet could still not take it! Again...a fantastic night!

The last day linda and i hit THE WORLDS BIGGEST SOUVERNIR SHOP! It was amazing but i am a little unnerved as i did not realise that there was anyone in the world who could shop me under the table but Lin can!

Lee spent all day in the casino playing blackjack...but although he lost a big of money he also had a fantastic day!

That evening we hit fremont street and down town Las Vegas. It was an excellent night which saw us dancing in the street with a yard of strawberry daquiri....Result! Linda was smashed in about two seconds flat!

The following day we bid goodbye to Vegas and headed for the Hoover dam where we did a tour but the 110 degrees weather was just too much for us! it was very good though. After we headed to a town called Williams to camp for the night. This is an hour from the grand canyon.

Yesterday we got up early from the campsite at williams and headed for the Grand Canyon which was predicatably amazing! Lee and I saw it amazingly from the floor but Linda took advantage and saw it from the sky as well in an hour long flight! Which she describes as the best experience of her life! So naturally we were both very pleased that she did it! On the way to the campsite we stumbled across a real life wolf which was roaming in the forest! Amazing and a little scary!

After we camped in a site which was a 10 min walk from the rim of the grand canyon, where we all watched the sunset! It was quite scary because we saw lots of signs warning us that the camp is sometimes visited by mountain lions! Roar! After the sunset lee made a fire and we sat around whilst linda snored her head off in the camper! Bless!
