Hi everyone

After a very painful flight Lee and I arrived in LA...the time difference was 19hours behind Fiji which was painful as we got on the plane at 10pm so in effect we had thursday twice with no sleep in between. It was horrible!

What i think made it worse was that we were both dead excited to see aunty Linda. Who is now here safe and sound. We are in a very swish hotel which is centred right in downtown LA in little tokyo. The hotel is very very nice and we are really flashpacking at the moment as we have: a tv, own bathroom and fridge! I know...how lucky are we! The best bit is that it really is no more expensive than a hostel! Result! As i type it is almost 8am and i am looking out from our 12th floor room over down town La which looks really cool! Today is day one of hardcore tourism and we are heading out for hollywood! We all have so much we want to see...so armed with lonely planet and a map we should be fine!

Linda already looks like she is having an amazing time...even if she did suffer yesterday as an 11 hour flight took it out of her...but she is doing well.
