Hi all, nearing the end of our trip now only a week left in Australia. We are now in Townsville staying at ex work mate of Adams for a couple of nights. Had a good last weekend in Barcaldine with 2 all day pi** ups but we also got a bit of extra work in a restaurant together for a couple of nights. I was in charge of the bar and taking food orders and Ads was more in the kitchen helping out. So we both worked two jobs on the last Friday, poor Ads worked from 8 til 5 in the tyre centre and then 5.30 til 10.30 in the restaurant, he needed a beer at the end of that day. Taking it easy again now though, stopped at a couple of places since Barcy including Airlie Beach which is a sort of campervan/backpacker gathering point. Starting to cool off now as it heads towards winter, only in the early 20s so loking forward to the british summertime!
