Queenstown part 2!

So after 2 weeks of living in a box in a cheap hostel,very rude staff and viewing 6 flats me and Mishee finally found a lush place in Fernhill for the right price, this house is simply luxury and cheaper than all the others we viewed, which doesn't really make any sense at all. Its about a 40 minute walk from town which is good for fitness especially if you walk back from town because the hill is silly steep. The walk is worth it though as we have the most amazing view ever!

We are sharing with a couple of lads from the UK, the house has got everything from ski TV, Wifi internet, leather sofas heated towel racks its insane! Its fully furnished so no need to buy linen etc, so it takes the hassle right out of it which is class. Check the pictures out!

We have landed jobs as well, Mishee is working at a posh resort called Millbrook where the rates a night can go up to $1800, amazing golf courses and spas, and the best thing about it is we can play the course for $10 not the usual $170! Mishee also sells a lot of the local activities so gets to do them herself for free! Mishee can also treat Judy to some discount spa treatments! The staff seem really nice and Mishee's wage is pretty good (for Queenstown) so we are well pleased because now we can save a little before our big S. America trip and do some crazy bungy jumps and stuff here. It wasn't easy finding work, it took 3 weeks which was longer than expected but its such a tourist town everyone has the same idea and tries to find work here.

I some how managed to get a tennis coaching job the stunning Queenstown gardens, its the most beautiful place I have ever played tennis and I am hitting a lot trying to get a bit of my previous standard back.
The first week was tough as I had four 9 year old's and one 6 year old on one court for 3 hours every day, there was also a devil child who wouldn't listen to a thing I said and cried a lot so I found it quite stressful. I forgot what that was like after being on holiday for 5 months haahaha!!!!

The other kids were lovely. Its the summer school holiday at the moment so have a course next week as well, just hope the weather holds out because it has been snowing here for the last 2 days. But yeah mark the head coach is a sound bloke and is a really good laugh, especially on a night out! Also the other coach Lan was a pro for 14 years and has played the likes of Pete Sampras, Boris Becker and beat Patrick Rafter in his career, and also got to the quarters of the Wimbledon men's doubles! so will be class being on court with him and I will learn a lot of him.

Mishee's friend Jodie and her husband Wyn are out in a couple of weeks so it will be great to go out with them. She is really excited as she hasn't seen them for ages.

So pleased how we have finally got sorted, the pressure was on for a little bit then!!!
