Another nice morning wake up, to get ready to head to Alcatraz. We got up and got ready then headed down to Denny’s for a quick breakfast before we made our way to Alcatraz. We hopped on the boat that took us across to the island. We got off the boat and headed up to the cell tower to do the audio tour of the place. It was amazing to get to see around the whole thing and hear the stories and what happened, and the history of the place. It was just like the movie! As we headed Back to the dock it started to rain really heavy so we got rather wet. We got back across the water still in the rain, so because we were all wet we headed back to the hotel via taxi to get a change of clothes and warm up.

Once we were warm we headed down to Applebee’s restaurant for lunch and a drink. We all got delicious meals and had a few drinks before Chrissy and the kids turned up to join us! We stayed for a few more drinks, then dad got sick... he wasn’t very well at all. But we decided to carry on with our night. We headed to Madame Tussaud’s for a look around, impressive to see how well it’s all done! Then we headed to Ripleys believe it or not, while dad headed back for a sleep as he was sick. Ripleys was awesome, lots of fun facts and games - mirror maze, laser race! It was heaps of fun.

After that we headed back to the motel to meet Chrissy and the kids for some games of pool and jenga! And of course a few drinks! On our way back to bed we made a stop at Denny’s for a milkshake and some Scooby snacks before we headed off to our beds for a good nights sleep.
