Yesterday we were in Kusadasi, Turkey and luckily I had alot of time off from working so me and a couple of brazzilian friends i've met went to have a look round for the day. I wish I could post the photos up because its a beautiful place with crystal clear water and alot of character even with the huge amount of tourism from the ships.
Most of the day we spent looking around the enormous markets (most of which sold fake english goods like 'Adibas' for pennies) and we had a great Turkish meal at a restaurant by the sea. It was so good to have almost a full day off the ship even though I now look abit like a tomato from the sunburn.
Today I was put down to work on the climbing wall for three hours on the highest part of the ship. After the staff found out that I had been climbing for a couple of years, I got the chance to belay the guests who were climbing the wall. It was great to be outside in the sun for a change and to be able to talk to the guests from all over the world.
It's been the windiest day today by far so the ship has not stopped rocking from side to side for hours. It's taking twice as long to get anywhere on ship because of everyone walking like their drunk in zig-zags. I'm hoping that tommorow it will have stopped swaying because not quite got my sea legs yet.
Tonight i'm off to watch some comedy/ quiz show by the pool on the open deck before taking it down at half one in the morning and then a celebration party for my mates new job promotion so another late one but more fun times. I should get the chance to sort out my wifi in Venice on Saturday so i'll get some piccies posted up as soon as I can.
Ciao!
