Today we went to the waterpark, which was amazing!!

We left the hotel around 11am & got a taxi to Palm Jumeirah which cost around £10 for 35 minute journey. (Dubai is not as expensive as we thought) The roads are mad here so i am glad our last journey in car will be to the airport tomorrow. drivers seem to do what they want, i didnt feel unsafe but it was weird compared to the driving in England.

The Atlantis hotel is huge & a really nice shaped building, when you walk into the lobby of the waterpark it is decorated poshly! Our tickets were bargins - entry to the park, towel, locker & meal for £50 well worth every penny!

We loved the slides as you could go down them in double rings together, i was scared & chickened out at the top of the first ride. We started with single rings as we couldn't find any doubles. Adam went down & i stood for about 5 minutes before deciding to go on a simmilar style slide next to the one he went on. we met at the bottom & Adam was pleased i went down the slide!!

Shark attack was a black hole slide that ends up with you in a square tank that is under water with sharks, fish & sting rays swimming around. (obviously they can't get you.)

Adam was brave & went on the leap of faith slide, i watched at the bottom & tried recording on my camera. Adam recorded most slides on his camera & we will try to upload them as they are really good quality.

I liked the layout of the park & the fact that once you come to the bottom of a slide you joined onto the lazy river where you could chose a route that would take you back to the top of the slide again. You went on a machine that pulls you back up without leaving your ring - lazy but it made the day more relaxing.

We got back to the hotel around 6.45pm, it gets dark around 6.15pm which i think is quite early. We are now updating photos & blogs but then we need to get ready for bed, a taxis will be here for us at 6.30am tomorrow!!
