In the months before my departure from Sydney it was brought to my attention that buenos Aries would be hosting a music festival know as ultra at a time that I could be staying in the city.
I was stoked when our dates aligned. The show was split in two; the 19th and the 23rd. Even though the likes of Avicci and Hardwell were playing the first the second show had a notably better lineup.

The biggest names assembled for some absolute debortiary from 6pm till 6am; bender fezzy.
DC, Matty, Tom (new English mate), others from the hostel and muskeg arrived around 7.30. Probably was far too early but we sure got our fix of filthy beats.
Knife party and Armen were definite highlights drop absolute fatties resulting in my arms be dead for the next 3days from my violent fist pumping! So intense... Started pouring rain in the middle of knife parties set, absolutely bucketing an amazing image I will find hard to erase!
After being jammed like sardines within a rowdy crowd the crew exited to get some hydration. DC and myself were separated from the guys as we tried to maul our way back in. We watched Armen up the back which was still sick but once the heavens really opened up we decided to give afrojack the flick and head out before drowning in the mud bath. It was freezing by this stage and there was a lot of others with a similar idea to me and DC.
Getting out wasn't too bad but finding a cab was going to be another story. We joked around a little about "how the f*** are we going to get home" ; given we were about a 20minute cab from milhouse. Our prayers were shortly answered by a kind hearted English speaking local woman. A massive help flagging us down a cab insisting he take us and giving him directions. We both gave her a massive hug and a kiss and pass out in the cab home.
Was going to be an early rise the next morning in order to check out and cross the border into Uruguay.
