Today we left Dornoch at a leisurely 10am after picking up lunch from the local deli. As we rejoined the A9, our home for the day, we passed a sign stating that Wick was a mere 58 miles away and John O Groats only 75. We woke this morning to a beautiful day by Loch Melfort. We could see the breath of the Highland Cattle in the field outside our patio door, the mists on the surrounding hills a hazy pink glow to the skies.
