So after 23 hours flying and a 9 hour time difference... I finally made it to Melbourne!

Checked into the hostel with about 3 hours sleep, had a shower got changed and then hit the streets!

Didn't have a clue what I was going to do so I took a stroll down to Federation square. Without anything better to do I went into the visitors centre and was offered a tour with a local completely for free!

It was amazing I saw some places that I would definitely not have seen unless I had taken the tour! Stupidly didnt take any photo's as I was actually that tired! I plan to revisit most of the places later on in my stay.

Running out of time on the internet so I'll continue this later!

Got back to the hostel an net the guys (and girl) staying in the dorm with me. 2 Americans (brother and sister) and a French guy, Greg. The Americans were nice enough they're just doing a couple of weeks travelling. Gregs working out here (or at least he's looking) and trying to improve his english. Hopefully they'll all join me for a night out tonight!

Just had a lovely cooked breakfast on the edge of queen Victoria markets... Probably should have gone into the markets to find something but it's a bit late now! I need to start paying on card as well as I'm going through my cash pretty quickly! Melbourne is a very expensive place!

Once I've done the markets I'm going to head to Ramsey street for a bit of neighbours sight seeing!

The weathers good, nice and sunny but still a bit of windchill... Hopefully it'll be a bit better for when I go to the beach at st Kilda tomorrow!
