A beautiful place to stay. I wish I was staying here longer. Got the ferry over from Townsville yesterday, took 20 mins. I'm staying at the Bungalow Bay resort...lots of big wooden bungalows, with its own Koala sanctuary in teh grounds. Today I had a walk around the Island; going to Balding Bay (a nudist beach) and Radical Bay...both beautiful, very peaceful with only a handful of people on-very idillic. Then walked around the Fort-an army base used during WW2...on the way there saw a koala with a baby on its back-a great end to my day!
