An old old disused clay quarry has been redeveloped into the most amazing network of gardens, learning centre and these 2 enormous biomes - big plastic bubbles that house an enormous variety of plants one has a tropical theme, the other a Mediterranean theme. After a trip to Tavistock to get supplies for dinner, we packed our lunch and raincoats and headed off across the Moors along the East Dart River to a waterfall. On Friday we drove 3 hours from Stow to Dartmoor National park. We stopped at Castle Drago, the last castle to be built in England. Julius Drewe, a man who made his fortunes with a successful grocery store called Home and Colonial, had a lifelong dream to have a castle as his family home.
