We were supposed to meet at 8.30am so I got up around 7.30am and started getting ready only to find the meeting time was pushed back to 9.30am. Having a little free time I managed to Skype home for a bit.

We finally hit the road and drove for about 4 hours before our lunch stop at the Big Apple! They had anything you could think of made from apples...even apple flavoured coffee! I was going to try it but someone else did and said it wasn't great. I had apple flavoured french toast (eggy bread as some call it back home!) with maple syrup which was devinely yummy! Oh, and apple juice of course!

We then drove another couple of hours to Montreal. We got caught in peak traffic, so were delayed getting to the hostel. We had only half an hour to get ready to go out for dinner. Wasn't too bad though as it's only a room of 4 sharing together.

Dinner was so much fun! We went to a restaurant called O'Noir which is dining in the dark! We ordered first and you're assigned a number to identify you when you order drinks or when your food comes out. Then you form a chain holding the person in front and they lead you to your table. I sat next to Laurie and it was so fun...he spilled a glass of water (but saved his beer). I dropped my fork on the floor at some stage and there was lots of fumbling and funny statements made. Lots of fun!!

We had a drink at a nearby pub afterwards and have just crawled into bed just before midnight.

Free day in Montreal tomorrow to check out the town, with a jet boat ride booked for 2pm...super excited about that!
