We met in the lobby at 6.45am - yikes! Charles wanted to get on the road early as there was a music festival in town and the roads were going to be choked.
We made a quick breaky stop then drove for a few hours. Around 10.30am we stopped at a grocery shop to buy some lunch, then drove another 2 hours or so before stopping at a picnic spot by a river. We saw a few chipmonks!! It was quite nice and sunny.
More driving for a few hours and it started to get overcast and cool. At around 4pm we stopped for a waterfall hike at Moul Falls. It was fairly flat for the first half hour, but the second section was a narrow downhill path that was quite rocky. It wasn't too hard though and the waterfall was pretty cool and worth the hike! Most had planned to swim in the waterfall but since it had turned so cold, only 3 ventured in. Crazy!! Round trip it was about 1 hr 45 mins...took a bit longer on the climb back up!
We drove 10 mins further and arrived at our accommodation...a ranch! We had little log cabins and there's horses! It's all decked out country style, kinda cool!!
We had dinner around 7. "Big Mike", the owner, cooked the most amazing steak! It was to die for! Whatever it was marinated in was amazing!
We just hung around for abit chatting and playing games. I called it a night around 10.
