Ok - it's been too long since I wrote something on the blog...But the pictures have not stopped

My time in Norway was amazing: the way of life, the love of nature, the traditions and the culture, minus the price tag, and it is the best place to live. I thought that in Canada we knew about winter...well there, they embrace winter more then us. Not to mention the snow kiting!!! it will be hard to go back to icy lakes. I want to say a special thank to my friend Anette who got me suited up before going to the mountain since none of my snow gear made it to Norway on time. You have a home in Canada dear Anette!

I have spent the last two weeks in Croatia. My first week in Split was great. I stayed on a boat and walked in town everyday to enjoy the city life - which inludes coffee bars and people watching as well as 2000 years of history. I kited only once in Bol on the Island of Brac but nothing epic.

During the second week I found a little town called Blace, by the Neretva river. I met the locals and got a few kiting sessions in super flat water. I did a few day trips to Mostar in Bosnia and to Dubrovnik in the south of Croatia. I really enjoy the quiet life here but I have to admit, I am ready for phase 2 of May!

I am leaving on a ferry from Split tomorrow night. Then a train to Rome to fly to Tarifa, Spain for 2 weeks. Really hoping for lots fo wind!
