Sorry there was no blog last night, we were lucky enough to get a table at a place called 'Still is', so we headed out rather early and got back late. Still is......is connected to the founder members of Academica FC and still is connected to the club, hence the name. Very nice indeed, everyone got dressed up for the occasion and we really had a great night, excellent food, company and conversation, we were met by Paula, whose husband is the President of the current team - very welcoming and hospitable - Thank you Paula. All this after a very interesting day at the farm and a visit to two workplacement employers, one in the equine field and then a short visit to an aromatic plant grower - students played a trick on me - gave me a fruit that looked just like an orange but wow it tasted just like a lemon - yikes - they thought it was very funny, as did the minibus driver Zeph, hmmm good one guys :)

Today a tour around the Botanical gardens, then a walk into Coimbra before ctching a regular bus to the farm - to experience what the students who attend everyday do. Then this afternoon working on mushroom production - need to come back in a month to cut the first crop :)
