Hectic day today. After a night of very uneven sleep, waking up periodically to check on Stacy's progress, I had a hard time getting up. Crazy day today. I got up at 8 so I could start working in my essay for a while before I headed to work. The essay did not go so far. I felt like I was rambling and lacked focus, even though it is pretty straightforward. Oh well. It's due Tuesday so I've still got time to get it together. Work was pretty good. Good day today. I got up at 9 and did some reading for class until about noon. Then I went to the Wellcome Collection Gallery to go to an exhibit called SKIN. It was very cool. There were a variety of objects including photographs, medical drawings, biblical paintings, wax molds, models, video etc. The first part showed bodies with their skin being removed to show the muscles underneath. Good day today. Was going to go for a run this morning but had a hard time falling asleep last night so I slept in until 9. Then I made myself breakfast then went to the library to do some reading for class. Some of the reading was interesting but after going to class it didn't seem crucial to understanding the lecture content. I think from now on I'm going to read relevant sections of the textbooks we bought and just go to the library when I want to learn more...
