Woke up to more snow this morning. It was a very nice sight - but not to the Irish. They are not used to much snow in general, let alone snow this early.
I had to wait around a while to meet Michael because the roads were too bad for him to drive. So I walked around and did some window shopping while I waited for his train to get in.
Since the roads were bad we couldn't go to Glendalough as we originally intended. So Michael and I took the train to Howth and walked along the pier for a bit. Eventually we got too cold so we went back to the station and caught a train back to Dublin. I talked to his mom on the phone for a bit; she was sorry that she couldn't make it to see me.
When we got back to town we walked to St. Stephen's Green where we met Brian (Michael's older brother) and his girlfriend Karen. they took me out to dinner. Over the delicious food we finally figured out how we're all related.
They all live in the greater Dublin area so hopefully I can get to visit their homes the next time I make it to Europe (hopefully soon).
After dinner I spent a little time working on my essay and just trying to warm up. It really wasn't that cold here I just wasn't prepared for it. There is supposed to be more snow tonight, so there is talk of some flights getting delayed. They really just need to calm down, it's not that much snow.
