Last night's beers around the campfire led to a good nights sleep. But we were up as the sun rose to plan the days events. After a 2k walk around the canyon rim, it was back to the visitor's centre to watch an informative and very picturesque film about the Grand Canyon. Then back to camp to pack up tents and move on. Then we found a laundry and showers! $2 for 8minutes!! I hate to admit it, but it was only our second shower in over a week. Did I mention most days since we left Albuquerque have been over 40degrees? With clean bodies and washing done, it was time to hit Las Vegas. Hoover Dam hasn't changed much since our last visit 18years ago, but a new huge concrete bridge has greatly improved traffic flow around it. Before actually getting to Vegas, we have checked out two casinos, and Aaron has come out $5 ahead! Seems like we have a gambler in the family hahaha!
After checking into our hotel/casino, it was off for a bite to eat then to a show.
