Yountville is a small picturesque town in the Napa Valley and looks like it would be a prime location for a Disney movie. Manicured lawns, perfect gardens, quaint shops and building facades. And original home of the famous Bouchon bakery. Their fruit tart was delicious, as was the cinnamon roll we sampled. Tummies full, it was time for more wine tasting. First to Cornerstone Cellars, then on to V. Sattui Winery, St. Helene. This incredible winery had not only a large wine tasting area, but cafe, gourmet food and huge cheese selection too. Forty minutes down the road was the ferry to SanFrancisco. After a lovely scenic ride into the heart of San Fran, we took a tram ride through the city, ending up at Castro, where the gay pride parade went through 2days ago. Lovely cafés and coffee shops sat comfortably alongside 'pride' stores selling a variety of 'unique' clothing and accessories. Back to the wharf to join the queue for the ferry back to Vallejo, where we left the car, then on to an interesting little Napa pub for tea.
