Well the Aussies have reclaimed the Ashes. We will now have 4 weeks of gloating to put up with until we escape to New Zealand. Pete headed down to the WACA first thing this morning, still hoping that a miricale could happen. I gave it an hour and a half, then decided I would go and join him as Flintoff and Peitersen were going well but by the time I reached the pub outside the ground four wickets had gone down. So I turned around and walked back to the hostel just in time to see Monty loses his off stump. Nevermind, at least PNE got back to winning ways.
We had a really good day on friday af the test match. We got to see another England collapse but Harmy and Monty's little cameo at the end was entertaining and Hoggard's first ball at Langer got the crowd going its a shame it all tailed off towards the end of the day. The beer was disappointing though it was over two quid for a half of 2% lager, at least there was no hangover!
Apart from going to the cricket and watching it on TV we haven't really done much in Perth. It is a nice change after a month on the road travelling nearly everday to just laze by the pool. We went out for a meal with Tracy's (Pete's girlfriend) parents on Saturday night which was really cool. The meal was great and we got to eat some veg, for the first time in about 6 weeks!
We fly to Melbourne first thing tomorrow where we will meet up with Tracy and spend Christmsa on the beach with a barbie!
Merry Christmas if I don't update before then.
