Another relaxed morning - sleep in, late breakfast, late check out, passports handed in for Cambodia visa.

Midday we head by bus to the port of My Tho Port, an hour and half later we are boarding our unique elegant river cruise ship the RV La Marguerite.  

Keys were already handed out to us and bags in our room - we are on Deck 1 and our room has not only a balcony but a comfortable window seat. The decoration of the wide hallways and our room has beautiful timber floors and French tiles - such a warm welcoming boat.

There is always the safety drill - life jackets in hand as we head to the pool deck.

Late lunch, tried the watermelon soup, interesting! Food on these river cruises are always wonderful.     Generally it's a choice out of three on the menu and then they have an Action Station, where you can try one of the local delicacies.

After lunch we leave for travel along the Mekong River Delta, a relaxed afternoon in our room and the Saigon Deck Lounge.

Dinner came around too soon, then a show of the local Vietnamese dance was displayed after a presentation of what the next day activities are.
