Sunday we woke up and went to church services at St. Paul's Cathedral. Just so we could see the inside and not have to pay. It was beautiful!! Seriously I think it took my breath away or I skipped a heart beat or something. The choir sang just about the whole time they were really good also. After services a group of us went to Tate Modern, a modern art museum, it was ok I am not really into modern art of really understand it so it wasn't awesome by far so we left early.... Then we asked directions to a the oldest pub in London and eventually found it but it was closed so we ate at the Inn that was attached to the back of it I tried the in house beer ... I was ok but had a really bad after taste. After lunch we got lost and eventually made back home Later that day we went to Hyde park, saw the Peter Pan statue, the Princess Diana memorial fountain, and a few other monuments in the park. Hyde park is so huge. Once you are in the park you do not even realize you are in a city any more!! They have so many paths everywhere, a pond and just tons of grassy areas.... So many people were there just lounging, playing football (soccer) teaching their kids to ride a bike etc... Monday- Toured through Kensington Palace! By far my favorite place yet! and then did some shopping the rest of the day! And I almost got ran over by a car!! Yes here in London people do not have the right away. Tuesday-First day of work-- so much to say so I will sum it up Morning: weekly meeting, and then another meeting follow that (didn't really understand what everyone was talking about at the time, so I felt a bit stupid) Mid morning: assigned reading .....very long like 30 pages for each packet I have to read Lunch Break Afternoon: Tour of this huge hospital!! seriously I think it took about and hour and a half then we planned out my 6 weeks here (bit overwhelming!), and more reading Finally Home... Work made me feel very overwhelmed today..... now I have more reading....so I have to go....later
