Well after a not so good start we ended up having a great day in Kuala Lumpur. We had a fantastic lunch in 'Little India' and met a lovely Malay couple who shared our table. We arrived in Kuala Lumpur at 9pm last night (Wednesday) after two full days of travelling! After a great night out in Koh Tao at the Thai boxing, the American won by the way, we got the boat to Surat Thani. This took about five hours and was very choppy - not good with a hangover!! Well we're now fully qualified PADI divers and what a great experience we've had! It's been hard work, we've had tests and a final exam, lots of skills to learn in shallow water like taking our mask off, putting it back on and then emptying it, taking our breathing equipment out of our mouth underwater, breathing out and then using it again, navigating underwater and having our air turned off so that we know what it feels like and then using our buddys alternativ...

Well we had a crazy couple of nights in Ko Pha-Ngan and got quite a shock to our system on the first night because we stayed in a proper party place where the pumping music didn't stop until 6am in the morning, the room was horrible and the fan didn't work!! All we could think was we want to be back in Poppies!!!
