Your dad may not remember but he saw the Pieta at the World's Fair in New York. We rode a moving sidewalk past it - that was how they kept people from just standing in awe.

When Sam and I were at the Vatican, she wanted desperately to see the Pieta - being a Catholic - but get this, they were letting me in with my mantila and not her -- she is so tall that when they measured from the ground up to the bottom of her skirt was still inches from the marker. We used her slip like a trim and made it the right length so we could both go in.

Never thought I would want to go to Prague-but WOW what a tour guide you are! Now I want to go-probably not the hard rock discos or rap but the museums and Jewish quarters! I could probably do the sports bar thing if your mom was with me!! Be safe. We love you!

hey girl, wonderful keeping up with your travels!! Prague is my favorite place in Europe so far (but I didn't go in January!) St. Vitus Cathedral and the guards and all, and a great bar on a roof somewhere, but I think the food was Asian, although it may be the five story one you were talking about, just a different floor. If it makes you feel any better I think it got down to 16 in Tulsa tonite!! We will have to consult you next time we go, you are definitely the entrepreneur now!!
